Pain and bleeding 7 weeks after erpc

Hi
I had a medical termination 7 weeks ago, which failed. Extreme pain and average bleeding but no clots/tissue. I had a second medical termination 2 weeks later which also failed. I had cramps but no bleeding at all. I then had a ERPC 3 weeks ago as the nurses said they could still see tissue on the scan. Again after the procedure I had minimal pain and very light bleeding. I am still bleeding now on and off, one day it’s heavy bleeding then it stops for a day or two and then starts heavy again. I have almost constant tummy ache/cramps. Nothing too bad but uncomfortable. Has anyone ever experienced this? How long will it take to feel back to normal and for bleeding to stop? I’m so drained and feel so ill from all this. The GP does not really seem interested in helping with my situation, I was given antibiotics and nothings changed. Can anyone tell me what I should do next please or if this is normal? I had a missed miscarriage 2 years ago and it was very clear when I had passed the baby, but this time I haven’t had any clots even though the surgeon said there was no baby there just retained product before I had the procedure. I just have a feeling something isn’t right, or maybe I’m just being dramatic?
sorry for the rant, I’m just worried

Hi, i’m so sorry you’re going through this. I had a similar experience, where 3 weeks after my ERPC I was still bleeding on and off. I paid privately for a scan and it showed I still had retained tissue. I then had a repeat ERPC and that got rid of everything. I was really upset and scared of having it done again but the procedure went perfectly and the recovery time was very fast. I think you should go to the EPU and push to be scanned again. They should be sympathetic, especially because the situation has been going on so long for you. Please don’t feel you’re being dramatic. Good luck and I hope it can be resolved quickly.

Thank you for replying. I spoke to my GP today and he said he’s not really worried but prescribed me with antibiotics and said to wait until my next period to see if I pass any tissue. I’m not sure if that is right or wrong? I just feel so down with this whole loss and process now. I just want it done.

I was also told I could wait and see if the tissue passed with my next period, so your GP's advice is fine. In my case, I was fed up waiting and wanted it resolved, so we agreed repeat surgery would be the best option. If you're in pain and worried, you could go to your EPU as a walk-in and they should be sympathetic and scan you. As I can imagine the uncertainty of not knowing what's going on is stressing you out.

Hi can anyone help me please, today is three weeks after my medical termination, I have taken the test and I am worried the termination may have failed?
