I’ve been diagnosed with a highly probable missed miscarriage (second in a row). My symptoms disappeared at 6weeks, so I knew. Finally got a scan at EPU at 8 weeks where they saw an empty gestational sac, but it’s not big enough to call a miscarriage yet and I have to wait 2 weeks for confirmation. Sonographer said she was 99% certain it was miscarriage but legally the sac has to be 25mm before they can confirm, and mine was 19mm. My symptoms haven’t returned but I’ve done 5 pregnancy tests over the last 2 weeks and the line is getting darker and darker. Including 3 tests post Epu scan. Several days apart.
Now I’m really confused. I know the test will still read positive, even after MC, but I thought the line would get lighter, or at least stay the same. I’m confused as to why the line is getting darker and appearing instantly. I’d really like it if I could pass this naturally, but my body just doesn’t seem to do it. Twice this has happened now, I’ve never had any other type of MC other than missed ones and it’s really getting me down.
