I am hoping somebody might be able to advise or share some information, if possible.
At the start of June, I found out I was pregnant and it was my first pregnancy. A week later, I suffered a miscarriage at around 7 weeks.
At the hospital, my hcg levels were only at 92 on that day. Two days later, they had increased to 101 so I had an external and internal scan the next day which confirmed an empty uterus and no ectopic pregnancy. Two days after that, my levels went to 104 so I was advised to come back a week later.
The following week, I went back and my levels had dropped to 53 which was in the right direction and I was then asked to come back weekly/fortnightly until they had dropped to 0. When I went back a week later (2 days ago), they had increased to 55.
Has this ever happened to anybody by any chance? It’s been so upsetting and frustrating.
Also, my partner and I had unprotected sex two weeks after the miscarriage (first time 6 days prior to the most recent blood test, second time 2 days prior). I had been doing ovulation tests but each time, the line was quite faint. My temperature has been fluctuating too so unsure of any surges.
Sorry for the rambling but it was my first pregnancy and we were so excited. Now almost desperate to try and get pregnant again.
