Recurring miscarriage - positive stories?

Hello

I've had three miscarriages this year and we're ready but apprehensive to try again. My bloods have come back healthy and normal and I'm waiting for my scan next week.

Does anyone have any positive stories about successfully carrying to term after 3+ miscarriages? Did you find a cause for the miscarriages?

TIA 😊

Hello, I had two miscarriages before dd1 then another miscarriage then dd2, had bloods done too and no reason ever given as to why.
i was told to take an aspirin every day during the pregnancy, not sure if it was just luck or if it did make a difference. Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Hello

Thank you for your reply. I've heard about taking aspirin too. What mg did you take?

I can’t quite remember but it was a dissolvable one.

I was told to take 150mg

From when were you told to take them?

Hi, I’ve had 7 miscarriages in total. I had 3 then finally had my rainbow baby now 2 with no issues during pregnancy also advised to take ‘baby aspirin’ by the consultant. Currently trying again hoping we get our second rainbow.

Not me personally, but my Mum had 3 miscarriages.
She had my sister with no issues, full term, healthy.
Two years after she had me. No issues during pregnancy but I was born at 27 weeks, and am blind as a result due to my prematurity rather than anything pregnancy related.

13 Years later after remarrying she had 3 miscarriages in the space of a year, all at 7-11 weeks, no cause could be found.
she then got pregnant with my other sister not long afterwards, carried to full term and had no issues at all

so there is always hope

I can't speak from person experience, but two of my close friends have had recurrent miscarriages and after taking aspirin both are pregnant now and all seems well. One is 16w, the other 9w. Both had early losses.

Hi, I had 3 consecutive miscarriages and I had gotten to the point i was ready to give up on my dreams of being a mom . My mental health couldn't take the heartbreak of it all. I then had my blood tests and scans, all appeared 'normal'. Then I got pregnant with DS1 no issues, carried to term, he's now a cheeky 2 year old and I'm currently pregnant with DS2.
Don't give up OP I know it's soo hard, but keep your hope and positivity! X

Thank you everyone. We'll be trying again starting in August (in about a week to be precise, eek!)
