Is this normal?

I miscarried 2 weeks ago at 9 weeks, there was a lot of blood but it tapered off after a few days. Since then I've had awful headaches and a weird achy throat. I get hot flushes on and off throughout the day, I'm sweaty and dizzy also. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I contacted the EPU and they didn't seem particularly bothered, just said as I've had a complete miscarriage my symptoms won't be anything to do with that. I felt like this throughout the pregnancy but milder so I thought it might be dropping hormones?

Flowers sorry for your loss.

I didn’t experience anything like that with any of my MC’s.
viral? Covid? You would be better speaking to the GP tbh. Check your temperature & do a LFT -because they are bound to ask-and phone the GP in the morning.

Did you lose a lot of blood?
Could you possibly be anaemic?

Thank you for responding. I lost what felt like a lot of blood on the day it happened but then it seemed to die down over the following days. I've looked up aneamia and some of the symptoms ring true but not all. I don't actually have a temperature funnily enough, the highest I've been is 37.5c but I have a cold sweat going :( Will have to go to the GP. Thanks for your help guys.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've had 3 miscarriages so I know how hard it is ❤

My concern would be that there might still be tissue in your uterus and that's causing an infection. I'd contact the EPU again and make that suggestion to them.

@JuniperandI Thank you for your kind words. I'd considered that too but the lady I spoke to seemed very nonplussed and just told me to speak to my GP so I didn't persist. I'll try again though.
