2 weeks after miscarriage/ERPC testing positive

When I was discharged from the hospital after the surgery I was given a pregancy test and asked to do it after 2-3 weeks . I've tested today and it's still positive.

As it's only been 2 weeks since the surgery should I wait a bit longer before contacting the hospital or should I ring them now ?

How long after miscarriage did people get negative test ?

Hi @Pregnantandvworried I was still getting a faint positive after 3 weeks and then 4 weeks to the day of my ERPC AF came. I'll test again in a few days, but I assume the test will be negative. If I were you, I would take another test in a few days and check its getting fainter. If not, maybe give your EPU a call xxxx

I was told to take a test 3 weeks after my surgery I'm just over 2 weeks today and I did one yesterday as was having cramps and a small amount of bleeding and wondered if it was AF. Mine was still positive but a very very faint line. The EPU told me to call them if if was still positive at 3 weeks as there could be retained tissue if it was still positive after this time
