Bleeding - unsure what to expect

Hello lovely mums, please bear with me, it’s a long one. I was very lucky to have a straight forward first pregnancy with no bleeding or any other issues & lb is now almost 3.
I had an early reassurance scan 4 days ago with pregnancy number 2 & all was fine, heartbeat visible, baby thought to be 7w+4 which fitted with our dates. They did mention a shadow in the uterus they initially thought has a twin but definitely wasnt. The only other thing I’d say was that the lady doing the scan pushed down really hard on my abdomen to the point of me saying it was sore, I’d never had a scan this early before though so wasn’t sure if that was what was required to find an early pregnancy.
That night I had an awful headache, was really unwell & couldn’t sleep then tested positive for covid the next day. Following the test I saw a few spots of red blood then nothing then woke up the next day having worn a pad & found a similar amount of blood to a heavy period with 4 or 5 little blood clots on top (no obvious tissue).
Since then I’ve had no proper bleeding but on wiping have had all colours from nothing to pink to brown to black & there is often clear/light pink blobs of jelly. I have had no abdominal pain/any pain whatsoever & didn’t have morning sickness so can’t really say if pregnancy signs are subsiding.
I rang ante natal & they have noted it as one episode of bleeding, said it may be a MC but that people have had similar stories & the pregnancy has been ok. They said I have to wait 2-3 weeks then take another pregnancy test & go from there. I’m preparing for the worst but it’s going to be torture having to wait. Is there anything else I can do (there is only one place within an hours drive offering early scans & I don’t want to go back to the same place we went at the weekend) or does anyone have any similar stories good or bad? I’m also concerned if it is a MC I definitely haven’t seen any tissue so I’m worried everything hasn’t come out. Thank you for getting this far :)

I'm so sorry you're going through this. This could be something something or nothing and unfortunately, as there's little that can be done medically, some EPUs/hospitals/doctors are really reticent to do anything even though it's so hard on our mental well-being. You could ask for a scan or HCG monitoring but it sounds like they might not do that for you so try not to worry and hope for a positive in two/three weeks. Wishing you all the best.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I didn't want to read and run but I wish everything goes well for you. The wait can be horrendous. All I can suggest is to get enough rest and don't panic about getting scans.
