Chemical Pregnancy vs MMC?

Can anyone help me..

I tested positive on the day my period was due and for the following 5 days - the lines got a little bit darker but were not too convincing. I have tested a few more times and the lines are now very light, plus my temperature has dropped.

I've not started bleeding and wonder whether this may be a chemical pregnancy but if I don't bleed is that a MMC? does it need any intervention to help start that process? I'm now about 8 days late from when my period was due and would technically be about 5 weeks 1/2 days. This is my first experience and I'm just not sure what to do.

I started bleeding the following day. It's been a month now and just started my next period so cycle seems to be on track. Hope it ends differently for you.
