I've just had my second miscarriage in 5 months. First miscarriage baby stopped growing at 8 weeks, this time baby stopped growing at 6 weeks (although didn't discover until the scan at 9 weeks).

I've asked my GP to arrange testing to see what the issue is. I have a 2.5 year old who I had a text book pregnancy with so I don't understand what's changed.

What are the sorts of things they test for?

@Anoushka1986 exactly the same thing has happened to me. I've had 2 healthy pregnancies and then 2 MMC in the space of 6 months. Was your GP happy enough to arrange testing?

Yea my GP was happy to do tests. I'm based in Australia so not sure if things work differently here. She said that if I'd gone through the maternity unit they would wait until I'd had 3 miscarriages until investigating but she was willing to do them after 2.

@Anoushka1986 yeah the NHS say after 3 they'll investigate. I'm going to see what my GP says but also looking into going private. I'm so sorry for your loss x
