How long after D&C did you conceive?

I'm currently almost 8wks waiting my second scan following an inevitable miscarriage and nothing is happening. No cramping, bleeding, also definitely don't feel pregnant anymore, this limbo is killing me.

I would like to opt for the d&c but worried that I've read you're advised to wait for 3 months afterwards to TTC. I'm 39 and trying to conceive my first child so really don't want to wait.

Looking for reassurance from people who conceived a viable pregnancy after a D&C. Thank you x

I'm ancient, OP, and can't remember whether we were told to abstain following my D&C, but I did become pregnant again immediately. A trouble-free pregnancy on that occasion - I hope you're as fortunate as I was.

I was told to wait three months before trying again. I asked if it was okay to try in the third month and the doc looked at me (young, fit, healthy) and said yes.

Conceived in the third month, normal pregnancy, healthy baby.

I had a d&c in autumn 2020. They told me to leave it at least until I had, had a period. I left it a month, got pregnant again, but that also ended with another miscarriage unfortunately. I then left it two months and got pregnant again, and now have my son.
I do wonder, if I had left it a bit longer after the d&C and given my body a chance to recover, if things would have worked out differently, but that certainly wasn't the medical advice I was given.

I was told to wait a month for dating reasons. I fell pregnant 8 cycles after my surgical management.
