Bleeding 2.5 weeks after surgical management

Hi, am hoping for people to share their experiences of their first cycle after miscarriage. I had a scan end of March which showed I'd had a MMC, I opted for medical management but 3 weeks later a scan showed not everything had cleared (I was Still bleeding and having positive pregnancy tests) so I had surgical management. Everything went well and I got a BFN 5 days after the surgery, and brown discharge stopped 8 days after the surgery. Since then I've been tracking ovulation with the Clearblue ovulation tests, have had a high reading for the last 3 days but have all of a sudden started bleeding today (18 days post surgery). Could this be my first period? It feels very soon as I usually have a long cycle (around 34 days) and odd considering the high fertility readings. Waiting to speak to my GP but wondered what other people's experiences are? Thanks in advance x
