Heavy bleed at 11 weeks pregnant

Good evening,

I woke up yesterday morning and noticed I bleed but no clots. When I went to work, I got a cramping pain and went to toilet and a poo and the pain stopped. When I wiped I had a lot of blood on the tissue with what looked like blood clots. I wiped again and it was clear. I called the midwife and she referred me and I got booked in for a scan on Sunday (tomorrow). All day I was fine. No pain but I'd been on my feet all day. When I finished (8 hours later),I went toilet and had some bleeding on my pad with again with some clots. I was worried at this point, So I called 111 and they referred me to the hospital. Waited over 2 hours and the nurse took my blood pressure and pulse and said that everything was looking good. They said it was best to wait for my scan and as long as I've stopped bleeding, it's a good sign.
Today I woke up to nothing. When I went to work, I checked again and the tissue was covered in a brown mucus type. I don't know whether that's a good sign or not but I've had nothing since. Just a little on and off cramping.
I'm expecting the worst news tomorrow and just wanted a little hope that there is a chance everything will be OK.

Anyone experienced this?

Brown discharge is old blood, so it could well be a small bleed that has stopped. Anecdotally, there are lots of women who have had bleeds and gone on to have a healthy baby.
The only way you'll really know is when you have your scan.
I hope you get good news. Flowers

I'm having the exact same thing at 11 weeks. It's awful. I'm so sorry xxx

I'm so sorry, I hope you have lots of support. This is such a hard time, especially if you're in limbo waiting for confirmation. Take all the time you need and be gentle on yourself.

I'm sorry that you had bad news, OP.

Thank you for your words. I'm still miscarring. Pain is getting sharper each day. I got another scan on Monday and if there is no progress then they'll give me my options xx

@Leenz1186, not that it's much comfort to you, but I hope that you are as pain free as you can be, and have people looking after you. Flowers
