Have I had a silent miscarriage?

Hi there I’m new to mums net just to get some advice, I’m hoping someone can help me, sorry for ramble but here it goes.
so I recently found out I was pregnant (on the 1st of April) which I’m overjoyed about, (my partner got told there was a 90 percentage chance he couldn’t have them)
so all has been going well up until about 3 days ago… before I was struck with terrible morning sickness and had to have a few days off work, which again is a concern as surely I’m not far along enough to have them symptoms yet…. But now they have completely vanished to the point I don’t even feel pregnant anymore, has anyone else had this?
I don’t even have my first appointment with my midwive until the 16th
and just wondering if anyone has advice…, is it possible I’ve stuffed a silent miscarriage or maybe not even been pregnant in the first place?
i was thinking about booking a reassurance scan, but don’t believe I’m far enough gone for that either. 😅

It’s really very common for symptoms to vanish so try not to worry. Easier said than done I know. My vanishing pregnancy symptoms became my (now) teen who is upstairs playing PlayStation!

congratulations. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Flowers

I had my strongest pregnancy symptoms after my baby had stopped developing. So symptoms are definitely not a guarantee of what's going on. I think it's quite common for symptoms to come and go xxxx

I felt awful for a couple of weeks but my test said I was negative, then had a few weeks of feeling fine then BAM! Pregnancy test is positive at week 8 and morning sickness was ever second of the day sickness and lasted for 9 months and had me hospitalised repeatedly for dehydration. I had been told before week 8 I definitely wasn't pregnant and it was just a hormone imbalance, now I'm sat with a 2 year old tantrumming about bedtime. Congratulations and try not worry x

It's a bit early for pregnancy sickness- are you sure you didn't have a bug?

Ethelfromnumber73 · 03/05/2022 22:14

Sorry- read that wrong. As others have said, disappearing symptoms are common so try not to worry

How are you @Lozwilson any update? I am currently experiencing the same. Full on symptoms up until mid week 7 and everything completely disappeared. I don't have much hope.

Hi
I want to thank everyone for all their feedback and yes I was panicking for no reason, I just had my first appointment with my midwife on Monday, she explained it’s completely normal for symptoms to come and go and they are back with a vengeance this week even having some fainting spells thrown in for good measure.
ive also had a blood test which has confirmed everything so my best advice is to relax and Don’t Google anything! 😂
