Hi everyone - first time poster and hoping someone can help. It’s been almost a year since I had a suspected miscarriage but I’ve been too nervous to ask. I was on the pill and had no symptoms of pregnancy other than some cramping (I don’t get periods on my pill so this was unusual). One evening the cramps got extremely severe and seemed to come in waves - it was like no pain I’ve felt before to the point I was crying.
Later in the evening I went to the bathroom and saw the large tissue-like substance in the photo when I wiped.
A month later I went to the family planning clinic and showed the photo and was told very casually and insensitively by the doctor that it could have been a miscarriage or maybe a cyst issue if I continued having problems. I didn’t have any problems after the possible miscarriage.
It probably sounds silly but I think about it every day and get very upset thinking the cramps I experienced were a miscarriage. I had no symptoms of pregnancy and was on the pill but feel as though I should have known.
Has anyone had anything similar to the photo or the same symptoms. Really would like to know if it was a miscarriage or something else.
