Miscarriage light spotting

Last month I was 4w6d pregnant (very early I know). I ended up spotting which I was worried so had a blood test. Hcg levels were only 14. This was low but normal range for 3-4 weeks. 2 days later I went back to check levels again. Hcg levels were down to 5 which is classified as negative….. this “miscarriage” had only 1 cramp, only spotting for 2 days. A regular period is more painful and heavier than what I experienced. I have been TTC again. Assuming I’d be due for AF today. I had positive lh on 5/4/22 so ovulated around then. Cervix is currently still high and soft. Never went low and hard after the miscarriage. Continued to have pregnancy symptoms on and off. Breast pain, bloating, headaches, fatigue, cervix still high and soft, watery c/m. Have had cramps expecting AF the past 2 days but still nothing. 3 negative pregnancy tests since m/c. Thought I’d better share my story because I never thought a miscarriage could be so light. If I hadn’t had a blood test I wouldn’t know I had lost the baby 😰

I'm sorry to hear this. I remember when I was a regular on miscarriage boards, we called the first period after mc the "what the fuck" period as it was so all over the place - could be light, could be heavy, could come whenever..
Are you planning to try again? It's a difficult road after you've had a loss, but it can all still work out for you Flowers

Hope you're ok as can be.
