My last peroid was April 2021, I got a positive pregnancy test 26th May, 1st scan reveled I wasn't as far on as initiated, 2nd scan revealed a suspected blighted ovum, 3rd scan confirmed this. Waited for normal miscarriage but it didn't happen so opted for D&C. D&C booked for 18th August 2021. Took medication given before the procedure which led me to hemorrhage. D&C went ahead and was successful in full removal. Was told 1st peroid would return 4 to 8 weeks after but not to worrie if its not on time or regular as everyone's different. In December I was referred to gynaecology with consurns of no peroids. Internal scan showed ovaries to be normal and although uterine lining was still very thin, it was promising that it was starting to build. We discussed the next steps and they wanted to try me on the pill to try force through a peroid. I was consurned because the pill never agreed with me, they caused excruciating migrains and left me very restless and moody and for years I was on the mini pill. I was also egar to try again for pregnancy so this didn't make sense but agreed 1 month worth of pill just to move things along. Unfortunately this didn't work which was very upsetting, so after a further 4 weeks with no peroid they wanted me to do another 3 months on the pill but this wasn't OK with me because of the side effects. They then said they would reffer me to endocrinologist as they insisted it was a hormonal thing. 8 weeks later (March 2021) I got a letter about the refferal and contacted the department who said that there would be a 12 month waiting list. I was in such a bad place and that was the last thing I needed to hear. It took me 15 months to fall pregnant in the 1st place, to loss the baby and be passed from pillar to post for almost a year then tobhear I'd be left for another year. Isn't ok. I went to my doctor and said if I have to wait a year to be seen, I might as well suck ot up and go on the pill and she said she wouldn't be inclined to do that. I then spoke to another doctor who spoke about being low in hormones because she could link other medical problems to hormones and how these problems cleared up during the 1 month corse of the pill so I asked could I be tested for early menopause, low hormone count, diabetes, thyroid ect, everything hormone related. Today I got my results. All with no action needed. In my mind does that not rule out hormone problems? If so what wpuld be the next course of action, surly waiting 12 months isn't beneficial. I'm getting older and feel time isn't on my side with everything that's happening. I just need to no what the next course of action is?
