Medical Management Second Round

Hi guys, I just wanted to see if anyone has been in a similar situation and had any positive outcomes.

I found out I've had a MMC last week and am in the process of medical management. I put the 4 tablets in my vagina last night, only got mild cramping and then when I went to the toilet about 4 hours later they just came out completely whole, didn't look like they remotely dissolved which I assume is why nothing really happened. I'm going back to the hospital today to have them put in again by a midwife this time so hopefully actually get a chance to do their thing.

Anyone had anything like this? I'm beyond anxious and broken hearted and can't really deal with this much longer, but desperately want to avoid surgery!

Any contributions are more than welcome!

Hi,
I'm sorry for your loss. A mmc is awful and I hope you are able to take the time needed grieve ❤️
I've had a mmc but I had the oral tablets - is there any way they can do that? I had to take them at hospital then it all started about 12 hours later.

Thank you for replying, and I'm also so sorry you had to go through this as well, I don't think I've had a chance to take in the emotional side of things as it's all concentrated on dealing with it physically- it's such a horrible situation.

I might ask about the possibility of taking them orally when I get there - I'll see what they say, thank you for that!

I don't know what the criteria is for pessary vs oral tablets. The pessary wasn't even mentioned to me it was just oral or surgical which I also wanted to avoid.
Just make sure you take planty of time to rest later and do feel free to come back here if you want to chat.
