I have just spoken to my GP who recommended going privately for recurrent miscarriage investigations. I just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for consultants based in Belfast. I contacted Kingsbridge and the consultant there is Dr. Hunter.
I was seen at the start of covid by gynaecology in the Mater Hospital and they went off of Dr. Hunter's list of tests. Everything came back fine so is it a waste of time being seen privately if the same tests are going to be repeated?
Is there an actual clinic here or is it just consultants we are referred to?
Sorry for all the questions I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Any recommendations would be great and any advise on what to ask for or anything I should know I'd really appreciate it.
