St Marys???

Hi ladies,

If you have been under St Marys.. How long did your nhs testing at St Marys take to come back? If i go via nhs its 12-14 weeks until first appointment. Wondering after that how long all the tests take to get results?

I could go private but I am guessing it could be £2-3k? Anyone doing this?

Im really unsure what to do.. my story is as follows.. missed miscarriage 2017, chemical pregnancy 2019, my son born 2020 (but was a twin- empty sac), then missed miscarriage recently December 2021 and erpc.

I turn 36 next month.

My options are ..

Wait 12-14 weeks for St Marys testing (then goodness knows how long to wait for follow up)

Go private at St Marys

Or TTC soon and hope for the best

What would you do if you were me? Feeling pretty desperate now and keep changing my mind.

I can’t help you with NHS stuff as went private at St Mary’s ( helpfully covered by work medical insurance)

I think you have got about the right figure for private investigations 3-4K depending obviously on what you need. And it would speed things up but at your age you do have some time and really depends on your financial circumstance. The care and the consultants will be the same. If you were 39/40 it would be different.
