Miscarriage - what will happen now?

I went through IVF in January and got my positive test - I went for a scan at the clinic on Friday and they found whilst I had a sac (23mm x 35mm) there was no embryo- I have been referred to the EPU and have an appointment at 930 tomorrow.

Has anyone been through this - what happened, what did they advise?

Sorry you are going through this OP. I've had 3 MC's and 2 rounds of IVF. It sounds like a blighted ovum. I would think they would offer 2 choices: wait for x period of time and see if you pass everything naturally, OR, offer you pills to move the MC on quicker. I have experience of the pills if you have any questions. You should also be offered counselling details if you want to speak to someone now, or in the future. You'd normally have a follow up appointment with the IVF to discuss what happened and what to do next. x

I believe you have to recover for a few cycles and then continue with the next transfer. Was this fresh or frozen?
