Recurrent miscarriage clinic in Lancashire or North West area

Hi all,

Last month I had my third miscarriage. My Gp has referred me to gynaecology which is a long wait. The early pregnancy unit referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, or so I thought. I rang them today and it turns out the referral wasn't done. It is now done but it has just prolonged the waiting.

I am looking to go private but not sure how to go about it.

Can anyone recommend any private clinics for the Lancashire or North West area?

Hi Red2017, I’ve just found your post whilst searching for exactly the same, 3 miscarriages and I’m wanting to look for some private help in the north west. Did you manage to find anywhere? Any tips welcome. Thank you

I am currently going through the NHS as I have now found a fourth. The tests offered by the NHS are very few compared to private. So I am still looking at going private. I will be going with Manchester fertility.

Thanks for replying, I was looking at Manchester fertility too but I’ve found it hard to find a range of places to choose from, esp any that specialise in recurrent. So sorry for your losses too. I called tommys and they were helpful and directed me to their list of tests if that helps you. Hope you get somewhere with it x
