No period 9 weeks after missed miscarriage

Hi just wondering if any other ladies are in a similar position or can offer any advice. I had a missed miscarriage nearly 9 weeks ago and had medical management (I took the tablets) was confirmed on a later scan that everything had passed. However 9 weeks later I still havent had a period and it is honestly driving me crazy with frustration, I have convinced myself something must be wrong and my mental health is massively low as a result. Throughout the 9 weeks I have twice had spotting where I have thought my period may be coming but nothing. I must add I wass till having positive preg tests 4 weeks after miscarriage but they are now completly negative. xxx

Took me 9 and a half weeks to get my period back after a natural miscarriage in november. I had spotting about 5 weeks after my miscarriage and I thought great, thats my period back but then nothing happened. Hang in there, it really sucks xx

@newkillerstar thankyou for you reply. It really does suck, do you mind me asking what your period was like? im now on day 7 of spotting I would say a couple of days were heavier spotting and consisted of some red blood. If this is my period it is so different to my norm. Im just really worried something is wrong xxx

@MiaGrace31 my period was pretty much normal, a wee bit heavier than my usual period but not by much. If your really worried you could make an appointment with your GP to discuss, I'd decided that if it got to the end of January with no period I'd speak to a doc about it. Have you taken a pregnancy test recently? I was kinda hoping the reason for my missing period was a new pregnancy but it wasn't sadly!

Hi @MiaGrace31, I’d be really interested in hearing what happened to you after your last post here. It’s been almost 9 and a half weeks since I took the medical management option for my miscarriage and still no period so would be interested in know how long was it before you had your period? Thanks!
