Worried.

Hi all , I am 5+2 pregnant, last night when I wiped there was little blood. Not bright red , just light .
Nothing in toilet bowl , but when I wipe.
I thought fantastic when I woke up this morning as there was nothing but it has started again. Light - when I wipe.

I had a miscarriage last year at 6 weeks so I'm obviously going out of my mind.

Is there anyway this isn't what this is? I don't even have the heart to tell my partner what is going on.

Help.

Hello OP!

I am not a medical professional, but I had DS recently and I had some very light bleeding around the same time, which I read was implantation bleeding. (I think it can happen even at 5 weeks although usually happens in first 10-14 days). I didn’t think anything of it at the time and went on to have a healthy pregnancy.

If you are very worried, which is understandable given your miscarriage last year, I would seek medical advice. It’s the weekend, so not sure if your GP is open but maybe try to call 111 for a faster response? It is better to seek proper advice than worry yourself.

Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy Flowers

Thankyou for your message.

On the day of my last due period I had very faint bleeding which only lasted one evening and I assumed this was the implantation bleeding .

I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about , I have a GP appointment on Tuesday I hope it settles by then and I can discuss it. If it gets worse then I will know unfortunately what is happening.

I've been in your situation a number of times OP and it has been both good outcomes and bad. It's almost impossible to tell. What I would say is be kind to yourself, rest up if you can. Nothing you do now or have done affects this.

Hiya ladies seen this thread and wondering if anyone has experienced a pregnancy wear absolutely nothing on the internal scan with HCG levels 2011 they said to repeat bloods as it could be ectopic and explained if they stayed the same they would suspect ectopic and would be sent for a camera but if my HCG levels went up by 65% then it would be a viable pregnancy and I'd be booked for another scan my bloods come back yesterday and they were 3923 they had gone up 95%! And we're really happy with the number so have booked me in for a scan on the 18th but I feel slightly disheartening becAuse in my last pregnancy just before 5 weeks we seen the gestational sac and their was nothing here on this one which is really upsetting anyone had similar situation

Hi @naomi94 I'm going through something very similar, any chance your story had a happy ending?

naomi94 · 26/01/2022 21:28

@LittleMrsMama
Hello, so yes I have had two early scans.
Alll is fine and good with baby. I actually had a second bleeding episode , not heavy but still concerning and they tested my urine as infections can cause some bleeding.
Such a worrying time. Try to be positive and just call your EPU to get some clarity on the situation. Xx

That's great news @naomi94 !!! Thanks for coming back and sharing. So pleased it's all going well.

Sadly for me the bleeding is a little heavier. I went to the EPU and they did a blood test which confirmed HCG levels were still there but not really high but dr said with all the other symptoms it is likely to be a miscarriage and the HCG will drop over the next few days

Oh I’m so awfully sorry to hear this!
It is devastating and I know exactly what you are going through there’s nothing to make it feel any less painful. Just know it was nothing you done or could’ve done any different to cause or prevent it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks @naomi94, it just wasn't meant to be. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy and congratulations again! Star
