Ttc after miscarriage

Apologies in advance for any sensitive topics I don't mean to cause upset.

Me and my husband have been ttc for a few months now and on new years day we got our positive result 2 first reposnse tests and 1 clearblue. Last night I discovered I was bleeding and not lightly it was almost like my period and had some really bad cramping having ran 111 they said to wait it out Sad
Tonight I noticed some heavy clotting and fresh blood but I don't have pain anymore from what I've been told I have had a miscarriage around the 6 week mark.
My question is my period is now not due for 3 weeks should we try again is it even possible to try again now or is it a case of waiting for my next proper cycle.

Any help is appreciated Smile

I'm so sorry; we had great news over Xmas only for it to end, incredible how you can feel on top of the world one day and completely crushed a while later. No advice really; I know people say different things. Due to my age, I may go ahead and try before proper cycle, but I think if I were younger I'd leave it a month, even more, as the panic of scans and dating would really set me off, personally.
This thread has helped, and I'd actually just asked a similar question to you:
