Possible miscarriage - bleeding

Hi all,

First post here. Sorry for TMI. I had a 16 week miscarriage earlier this year. I am now 5 weeks pregnant. I am bleeding from the vagina every time I have a bowel movement. Started brown and now getting more and is pink with bright red. In-between I'm getting nothing. I'm wearing a panty liner and it's clear. I also get nothing if u just do a wee. I can't help but think this is the first sign of a miscarriage but I'm confused why it's only when I have a bowel movement? I'm not straining or having any issues going. Any advice greatly appreciated since everywhere is shut over xmas. Thank you.

Hi hun, any update on how this turned out for you?? I had this twice once september which I had a lot of right sided pain, turned out to be ectopic that had burst, then end of November I found out I was pregnant again.. my bleeding started on and off for a week and got heavier - was a miscarriage. I have now just found out this week I'm pregnant again.. but also today started bleeding ONLY with a bowel movement.. I'm praying it's not the start of a miscarriage and totally understand how worrying it is! X

Hey girls , how did this turn out for you?

I am 5 weeks pregnant, and I started a little bleeding last night when I wiped very pink and was delighted when I woke up this morning to nothing , but it has started again only when wiping. And still pale in colour. I had a miscarriage last year so I'm going past myself. This is stressful.

naomi94, congratulations!!! I too was expecting to wake up in a blood bath this morning but was pleasantly surprised and feeling hopeful! I have a scan booked in 2 weeks time but that's due to previous ectopic.. I still have that niggling in the back of my mind picking up on any ache or pain and thinking the worst but I'm assuming that's normal for anyone that has been through the trauma of a miscarriage! Please let me know how things go with you, I have my fingers crossed for you chicken! 🤞🏼🥰 x

It's just such a worrying time isn't it.
I almost feel like I don't feel pregnant today but I think I just have deflated myself due to the spotting.
