9 weeks miscarriage

Hiya, long story short I went for a scan on Thursday and no heartbeat.. just waiting for the baby to pass naturally, has anyone else been through this? I feel sick, keep getting cramps had a little bit of bleeding with a few clots but not much.. should've been 9 weeks but I think the baby was measuring more around 7. How long will it take please as I'm driving myself mad! Just want to be back to normal now :(

Hi. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I've had three consecutive early miscarriages (5wks, 8wks and 10.5 wks) The last two m/c's took exactly a week from the first spotting, to the end of the bleeding.

The first day or two was mild spotting, getting heavier and clottier from days 3 to 5-ish. The cramps were pretty intense by day 5. By day 6 the bleeding would noticeably lighten up and the pain would go. On both occasions, I painlessly passed an intact sac (which was very distinguishable from any clots) This was the part that shocked and upset me the most. I wasn't expecting to see anything... But I will say that after the sac passed, the pain and bleeding stopped almost immediately and I felt 'empty' - emotionally & physically.

Its a completely shit time and you have my love. You're not alone, even though it feels like it right now. Xxx
