I had a miscarriage. After 5 weeks of prolonged (light) bleeding I seeked medical advice. I had a scan and there was an empty 4 week gestational sac, the pregnancy was 5 weeks and 2 days. I was given misoprostol as a first approach and if that doesn't work I need a surgical procedure. I have passed this and wondered if anyone knows what it is? Could this be the sac?
