Another chemical?

I’ve had 3 early miscarriages in the last year. Do you think truthfully I should be preparing for my fourth? This is 12dpo (top) vs 14dpo (bottom) 😞

Mine was a lot fainter than that on my chemical pregnancies.

Sorry, I know it's tough. I think you're still in the waiting phase as there's not a lot in it between those two tests (and your wee may have just been more diluted on the 14dpo).

Have you had any investigations done? I had a raft of blood tests done after my third loss and it was a game changer as it turned out I need blood thinners to be able to maintain a pregnancy.

@INeedNewShoes all of mine seem to get this dark, stall then get lighter :( I've been prescribed steroids, aspirin & progesterone & high dose folic acid which I've took this month xx

I think you'll only know in a couple of days as the line should definitely get darker still by then in my experience.

Good luck to you. Hang in there. I always took comfort in the fact that I seem to manage to get pregnant in the first place fairly readily; just needed to work on getting a pregnancy to stick.

@INeedNewShoes what do you think? :/

12dpo PM
13dpo FMU
14dpo FMU
15dpo FMU

@bethamb I think your bottom one looks the strongest OP, I'd say it's looking good🤞🏼

INeedNewShoes · 16/12/2021 12:29

I think this is looking promising!

Mine definitely were fading by 15dpo whereas your line looks good and, if anything, stronger than yesterday's.

Oh how I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Hi @bethamb - I hope you don't mind my jumping in, I was in your position several times - chemical pregnancies and early miscarriages. I was an obsessive line-analyst!
The most memorable (and upsetting) rollercoaster was our 4th IVF attempt. Positive tests initially, getting stronger, and then suddenly starting to fade. I was 100% convinced I was having another chemical, and I was pretty devastated. However, my daughter from that pregnancy is now two! So the lesson I learned is that pregnancy tests are "yes" or "no" - they don't tell you HOW pregnant you are, and there are variations in the amounts of dye in each test. So the line progression that we're so desperate for isn't always indicative of how the pregnancy is going.

It's so, so hard and really is in the hands of fate now. All you can do is wait until you can perhaps see a heartbeat on an early scan at 6-7 weeks. And I know it feels like an eternity! Thanks

@INeedNewShoes I've just took another on a 2 hour hold (I've gone crazy 😳) and ahhh! I'm praying this means this is finally a sticky baby 😭🤞🏼

Ah what lovely news!

That’s a really strong line and the CB test just backs it up Smile

I think you can allow yourself to feel a teensy bit excited now!
