Am I having a miscarriage?

I’m not sure whether I was pregnant in the first place but it is not something impossible. I started bleeding yesterday and I had a bleed-through two times within like a 4-5 hour span. Today I woke up to pain and ran to the toilet where I had my third bleed-through. It is very unusual to me to bleed this amount. Then a blood clot around 20cm long came out. It looks nothing like a regular period blood clot. Should I go to the hospital because I don’t think it’s normal to have that size of a blood clot. I had my tampon in for ~5 hours, no longer than that. Also the blood clot is very firm, not a breaking kind, which just makes me even more worried. I would have posted a picture but I don’t know how to add one. Maybe it can be private messaged? Any help would be appreciated, I am very unsure if I should go to the hospital…

I would ring 111 for advice. You definitely need to speak to someone as it sounds like a large clot. Best of luck Flowers

Have you had a positive pregnancy test at any point? I'd definitely call 111 or call your nearest early pregnancy unit (your GP can tell you where the nearest one is) for some advice. If the bleeding gets heavier go to a&e. I'd also remove the tampon and use towels just until you know what's happening. Hope you are ok!

Okay, thank you! Halo I think I will call for advice if I don’t find help elsewhere. I live in a small city without a gynecologist so I don’t know if I would get any helpSad

No I haven’t had a positive pregnancy test but I have been taking them every now and then. All of them have been negative. I have been experiencing some signs which has been the reason for taking the tests.
