Asprin to help miscarriages?? 🌈🌈

Hey all,

So after researching everything and anything from my own 2 losses...🌈🌈..... I've seen so much about asprin and how its helped ladies who have experienced unexplained miscarriages previously go on to have healthy babys?

I've had bloods done and stated that my fibrogen levels are on the high side, so it does make sense why asprin has bee. Mentioned!

Can anyone relate to this or Does anyone have any success stories relating this? Xx

I had 2 miscarriages so my doctor had me start on a low dose of aspirin, I got pregnant straight away after my second miscarriage (not even a period between) and am 27 weeks now . I also used progesterone pessaries (private prescription). Def worth asking your GP in my opinion!

I'm Currently on my 2nd cycle since I had the 2nd mc. (Doc advised to wait 1 period before trying again)
I've seen a consultant who has advised me about progesterone as well, amazing to hear that it's worked for some one!! You probably felt the same as i do now..... anxious!!!!

With the asprin did you take it when ttc or start once you got bfp? Xxx

@letshope Hi op I had 3 miscarriages between my 2 children and was prescribed a low dose aspirin I think it was 75 mg and the hospital had to prescribe it but it worked and I was able to have dd

I should add I was on the aspirin my whole pregnancy to be on the safe side x

Thank you . Sorry to hear about your losses too. It's so scary having to do it all again. After my first I put it down to back luck and one of those things. I couldn't believe when it happened again.
I started the aspirin as soon as the bleeding stopped from the second miscarriage and am still on it now. Progesterone I started as soon as I could after my BFP. I felt better that I was at least doing something different but the anxiety though the first trimester was really hard.

@Tittyfilarious81 awww wow!! That's good to hear. It's just so nerve racking at the moment the fear of going through it again. Hearing that people have actually had postive experiences after it with asprin is such a relief 🥰 keeping everything crossed that this time is going to be my time xxxx
