Possible infection post surgery?

I had surgical management on 24th November for a missed miscarriage, barely any bleeding, just light brown mostly. I've been quite crampy most days, particularly just before bed. But the last couple of days I've had some strange discharge, no odour and no temperature. But today I've had a lot more and it's almost florescent orange 😢

Epu have asked me to go in the morning for swabs and they might prescribe antibiotics. Has anyone had this? I'm so scared that I have an infection or retained tissue and it will cause more issues (this was my 6th miscarriage but first time I've had surgery).

I had lots of surgical management before and I did have retained products one time and had to have the surgery repeated but luckily no infection. I kept bleeding post surgery and then had a huge bleed which led them to scan me. See if they can scan you to check if any retained prodcuts (sorry horrible term)

Thank you @Cream123 they took swabs and my bloods showed no sign of infection, but they'll let me know later in the week about my swab results. Still feeling very tender and a bit sore but they didn't scan me - I did ask. I'm due to test next Wednesday. I had retained tissue last year after medical management, so am concerned although my symptoms this time are different.

I'm absolutely knackered though, was there all morning and just came home and slept. Hope you're OK xx
