I'm wondering if anyone is in the same boat. We've just been told yesterday that we've had our 3rd mmc. We lose the heartbeat each time just before we hit 9 weeks. This time I was on tinzaparin and aspirin for suspected APS.
I've been told to consider my options and decide surgical/ medical management. I've had both in the past, and it's failed both times with the tablets. Then needed surgery.
This time round I'm terrified of clotting risks with the surgery and ashermans syndrome with having had the surgery before. I've been told either way I have to be admitted with being on blood thinners.
The consultant we paid for discharged us and now won't answer my questions, EPAC have outright said they don't know (lovely ladies but both very new) and getting a phone appointment with a GP is about as rare as finding rocking horse poo.
Suppose I'm just asking if someone has been in this boat being on blood thinners and losing a baby? Did you come off them? Or has had more than 1 d&c and was reassured of the risks. I feel completely at a loss at like I can't grieve this time until I've sorted the right care.
Torturing the doctors again today just if anyone has been in a similar boat, googling it puts the fear of god into me.
