Is this normal?

Hello, I had a d and c last Friday and I hardly bled until Wednesday and the last 48 hours I'm bleeding heavier and cramping and have just had bad diarrhoea TMI sorry, I'm just wondering does this seem normal at all? Thank you.

Hi Abi, first off sorry your going through this
I had a d&e so could be slightly different but I had bleeding for two days and it tapered off, then came back heavier and cramped from around day 3 and has been consistently the same but is starting to taper off again now around day 9.
If your worried or filling a pad an hour I would give your hospital a call or a gp for advice and reassurance. Always best to put your mind at ease. Sending lots of love ❤️

Sorry you're going through this. I had an erpc two years ago and I bled for three weeks. The more I did, the heavier it was.

Thank you so much for the replies and sorry you have been through the same thing 💕 so I stopped bleeding yesterday but about half an hour ago I passed a large clot and that's the third one I've passed since Friday, anyone else experienced this at all? I think I will ring gp in the morning to see what they say also.

Sorry if TMI but I just passed another so two large clots within 1 hour and a half.
