Medical Management is this normal

Hi,

I had a missed miscarriage and underwent medical management in hospital in Thursday. It never worked as it should and although I started bleeding and having cramps I wasn't passing any tissue. After 13hrs they brought a doctor over who examined me and seen my cervix was open and she could see the pregnancy tissue and cut it away there and then... it was horrific and I had no pain relief :(
Anyway I got a scan the next morning and they said there's a little remaining and I should pass myself at home and was sent home.

It's now 5 days later. I have had a headache ever since... im sure that is just tension. However bleeding is still really quite heavy, much heavier than any type of period and is bright red with small dark brown clotting every time. Last night though the night I had really bad tummy pain but it almost felt like it was pain at my bowel so not sure if it's constipation or something to worry about. The hospital said to contact them if I have consistent or heavy bleeding... but I'm not sure what is classed as heavy?

Should mention I was unfortunate enough to go through this few months ago as well, however the medical management worked that time and everything passed and back home by tea time. Bleeding wasn't anything like this either so it's been completely different to my past experience.

I dont know if I'm just being paranoid and worrying or if I should be getting seen. I just feel pretty rotten 😌

Please call them again. It can be normal, but it can also end up in a nasty infection.

Headaches can be normal as it can be to do with a drop in hormones.

The rest of it - I think I would contact the ward if you haven’t already done so.
