Hi, I was told it appears as though it’s the start of a failed pregnancy this Monday and I had some spotting.
Since then, I’ve had really bad cramps and a full blown period with lots of cramps.
Although I have a scan to confirm this on Monday, I don’t have much hope that baby is ok. They saw no embryo in the egg yolk sac on Monday, just a cystic mass what ever that means.
2 questions I was wondering whether someone could help me with:

what does a cystic mass mean, has anyone else had this? I was only given my letter after talking to the nurse and read this when I got home.

can I take Ibuprfen? The pains are really bad and after having what seemed like diarrhoea today, I nearly fainted. I’m much better but have a really bad headache. The pain in getting worse, hence why im thinking about taking Ibuprofen now. I have 3 kids to look after and just need the pain to subside a little to make it manageable whilst I wait for things to pass.
I would really appreciate your help if anyone has any advice. Feel so alone.
