Hi, just looking for someone in a similiar situation, i found out i was expecting my 5th child 8 days ago, fast forward 2 days (thursday) after i had some blood when i wiped, i had no more until the early hours monday morning where i wasn't soaking a pad but peeing red blood in the toilet. This continued on & off over 2 days where today i have finally stopped. I have had no pain, hospital said i had either miscarried and it was completely out of my body or i was super early! Going by last period i should have been around 6 weeks. She has told me to re do some tests and if still positive to go in for bloods doing. I had a scan yesterday and they made me do a test that said negative but because i had drunk so much she said water dilutes it so i took 3 more today one been the first pee and all positive. Could there still be hope and maybe i am early? Or am i clutching at nothing? I've had no pains at all and it wasn't a heavy bleed but not exactly light either 🤞😔

What tests are you using? Are they faint positive or blazing?

After my MC I was still testing faint positive on FRER but the hospital said negative on urine. They took bloods which showed HGC of 4 which basically means negative but the FRER was still picking up as a faint positive.

This was 3 weeks after a 11week MMC. I must admit I never bothered testing again.

What did your scan show? I would assume if you got a positive 8 days ago you would be at least 4-5 weeks so it should show something.

If I were you, I would test again in a week or so then arrange for a scan or follow up tests.

From experience, if it was a MC you would definitely need pads but I guess everyone is different.

Sorry you are going through this, being in limbo is the worst! Thanks
