Miscarriage - is this it?

Hi everyone I posted on pregnancy last week incase anyone recognises my username. Ive had brown spotting since last Tuesday and went for a private early scan on Saturday. I should've been 7 weeks but only measured 5+3, no heartbeat and the sac was slightly misshapen. I was told they suspected that the pregnancy was unviable. Called the early pregnancy unit on Monday and I'm booked in for another scan this Monday to double check there's no growth.

Last night the discharge turned to blood with tiny speckles of clots (like a few mm at best). This afternoon it's gotten a bit heavier though there's still only a small amount of bloody on my pad. Im having mild cramps. I'm quite certain I've lost the baby/pregnancy - I'm not even sure how you describe it at this stage. I'm just wondering what to expect. Is a miscarriage a lot of blood? a lot of clots? Will I know when I've passed the pregnancy?

Sorry for all the questions I just don't know what to think and keep thinking that this must be it starting then nothing really happens. I'm scared I go to the shop and suddenly bleed everywhere or the like. Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated, thank you

For me, I passed a lot of clots and then PST a golf ball size grey mass, I'm assuming that was everything all at once. It was more painful than a period but less painful than labour. I continued to bleed like a period and then after a few days it eased. The heavy cramps eased after I passed what I assumed was the pregnancy, I then had mild cramps and felt like my stomach was bruised for a few days.

I'm sorry your going through this, I experienced similar with scans and it was absolutely horrendous.

Please be kind to yourself and take as much rest as you need, I found a hot bath and hot water bottle helped with cramps

Thanks
