When will it happen?

Hello, I'm 4+6 and have been told my pregnancy is failing but I'm not miscarrying and was wondering in your experience when it's likely to happen?

My bHCG results were:

14dpo: 46
16dpo: 67
18dpo: 59

I'm now 20dpo so 5 weeks tomorrow and although I know it's a non-viable pregnancy, nothing is happening...no significant pain or any bleeding at all

I still have sore boobs and feel slightly nauseous. My BBT and RHR are still high...it's like my body hasn't realised it needs to miscarry

I'm not due to be seen again at EPU until next Thursday when they want to recheck my bHCG as they've not ruled out ectopic yet as I'm having mild left sided pain (although obviously nothing showed on the scan as my HCG levels were too low)

I just want to get it over with and was hoping it would happen over the weekend so I don't need to miss work and have to explain why but nothing is happening...will they give me something to start it if nothing has happened by next Thursday?

I'm 37 and want to start TTC again ASAP and I really don't want this to drag on for weeks 😩

I’m also doing the dreaded wait, wishing I could just get it over with for the same reasons. I would guess if no growth at next scan they might look at your options? Or at least be able to give you some criteria for when they can. Hopefully it isn’t too drawn out for you Flowers

In case anyone ever Googles and finds this thread (I hate it when OPs don't come back!), the bleeding started at 5+2 and was just like a medium flow period, very little pain (like normal CD1 & 2 period pain) and my bHCG had dropped down to 6 by the following Thursday. I have since ovulated on CD17 following the MC, only a couple of days later than normal
