Just need a hand hold and shared experiences (positive or not). I think I’m having a miscarriage. I am six weeks pregnant and I had very small amounts of brown tinged cervical mucus over the last few days. Today I had a bleed which half filled a liner with a couple of small clots in. This is how my last miscarriage at this time stage of pregnancy started. So sad as this is my third ivf transfer to miscarry and I so wanted it to work out. I’m awaiting my GP calling to refer me to EPU but don’t think this will end well.

So sorry to hear this, hope you’ve been able to have an appointment with EPU. I started to miscarry Thursday at 6 weeks, confirmed by EPU but initially they thought it could be implantation bleeding. Sending lots of positive vibes and best wishes.

I had an ab first off in around 2018 heavy bleeding after, in late 2019/2020 had a m/c of twins late on but had minimal bleeding after surgery, in 2021 Jan had another m/c heavy bleeding every loss is different and I wish you the best of luck, myself and ex partner split around the same time and it was the best possible outcome, sometimes these things are a sad lucky escape

Thanks for the good wishes. So sorry to hear you have just experienced a miscarriage and thinking of you. I phoned EPU and have an appointment on Tuesday. They obviously can’t confirm I have miscarried until my scan but I think it’s highly likely due to the clots.

Hi I don’t know if anyone can help? I’ve had light spotting for 6 days and now have extremely heavy bleeding which started nearly 6 hours ago. Am passing lots of large clots. I know that this is a miscarriage I just wondered if anyone knew how long this heavy bleeding would last? I feel absolutely drained! Many thanks

@LucyLu2021 sorry to hear that. If you’re bleeding heavily with large clots and feeling unwell during pregnancy then attend A&E.

I’ve had 6 pregnancy losses - ongoing heavy bleeding and feeling “drained” needs to be assessed in A&E.

Sorry to hear about your loss lucylou2021. I recently experienced a MMC and found out the baby passed at 8 weeks. I’m devastated and decided to go for medical management but now have this weird jelly like mucus that’s brown/bloody! Wondering if anyone else has experienced this??

I think I might be having a miscarriage. I’m 7 weeks and started getting brown discharge with a few clots. Since Monday it’s been brown and this evening (Thursday) it’s turned more red. I’m having slight cramps and back ache and felt tired most of the week.

Ironically I went to a&e and they told me to rest, as soon as I got home and went to the toilet the blood was more red. I’ve attached pictures.

I have an appointment booked with the Early Pregnancy Unit tomorrow morning so I’ll have to see what they say x

@Rherhe92 - I started spotting and did so for ten days. I had a scan and baby was fine and a couple of days later the spotting stopped.
This afternoon I went to the toilet and there was bright red blood. I’ve had an internal and they could see blood, clots and mucus but my cervix was closed. I’ve been sent home and told to monitor the bleeding. If it’s gets worse or I pass big clots I need to go back to be reassessed and to confirm whether I have miscarried. I’m just over 9 weeks pregnant and it’s honestly been the most stressful 9 weeks of my life. I hope we both receive good news

I have been bleeding since December and nobody could.explain why. Some.days light some.days heavy some days smelly..two days ago I passed this and the bleeding stopped completely, I had bad stomach cramps and thought I had to.poop it when I sat on the toilet this passed vaginally. My hcg blood came back non pregnant and my uterous ultrasound was clear in mid January. My dr and naturo path and midwife friend think it's an embryo. How can I pass an embryo when nobody saw it on my scan? Has this happened to anyone. ?

I had a miscarriage feb and it broke my heart x I decided to still try and ovulatated March 1st I managed to find out I was pregnant with early pregnancy test. Blood test confirmed rising hormones and all good today I was a day off six weeks and the day of the early scan I woke up bleeding. It is not spotting but heavy like a period. They still scanned and empty sac but may be too early to have formed and scanning again next Monday. Anyone had similar situation?
