How long until negative test?

I am 14 days post d & c and still getting 2-3 on a clearblue digital test. Would have thought it would be at 1-2 by now. Baby stopped grow at 7 +2 , d & c was at 10 weeks. I will test again on Friday. Can't believe how much I'm yearning for a negative test.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had surgical management the first week in June and we're 9weeks but baby measuring 6 and I'm still getting a faint positive, even after a period. I had a scan after 3 weeks and confirmed no retained tissue. I've also been having my bloods taken every week which has showed slow falling hcg. Last week the levels were at 20 so hoping for a negative soon!

I think it takes a lot longer than expected, it's certainly taken way longer for me! It is weird hoping for a negative test but let's hope we both get one soon

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year. It took over 2 months to get a negative test. Almost 3 months I think. I really feel for you OP. It's very distressing when you are trying to heal and move forward.

Sorry for your losses. Its reassuring to hear that you can have slow falling hcg without having retained products. Can't believe I'm still waisting money on pregnancy tests.
The hospital told me I should get a negative test by 3 weeks post d&c but there's no chance of that. I can't wait for my body to get back to normal.
