Please never ASSUME miscarriage

Hey I just want to tell my story to warn women of what's happened to me.

After previously having a miscarriage, I assumed that I'd had a miscarried again at 5 weeks pregnant. I was bleeding for 10 days off and on and had had some pain.

I didn't contact the doctor as it had happened before and I just assumed that it had been a miscarriage.

The bleeding stopped and I started doing ovulation tests, all which were postivie. 2 weeks later, confused as heck, I then done a clear blue test which said that I would be 5+ weeks pregnant.

I thought I'd had a miscarriage 2 weeks previously and was in no bleeding or pain. I got a scan and they were unable to find anything, but my HCG was slowly rising.

After more tests, they found something in my right rube. Last night I had surgery to remove the ectopic pregnancy and my tube. So please never assume that it's a miscarriage, always get follow up tests x

Gosh so sorry for your loss. Always seek medical attention, never presume. Could be anything from ectopic to retained products.
