Two miscarriages - Chemical pregnancy then blighted ovum

Hi, my partner & I are in our mid twenties & have been ttc for the past 4 months. On month 3 we got a BFP which sadly resulted in a chemical pregnancy. The following month we got another BFP, on the 5th week I had a lot of abdominal pain so called my Dr who did some blood tests. My HCG was going up as it should, so she organised an early scan for some reassurance due to my previous chemical. The date of the scan I would been 6.1 weeks pregnant. They unfortunatley found an empty sac, which has been confirimed as a blighted ovum & our second miscarriage. I am feeling completely lost & devastated. As with everyone they will not look into a cause until we have experienced 3 miscarriages. Has anyone else experienced this or similar & if so how is your ttc journey going now? Did you ever find a reason, or go on to have a healthy pregnancy in the future?xxx

@Sunshine963 So sorry you're going through this. It's an extremely difficult time, emotionally and physically ♥️
I have a DS already. This time round ttc I had a chemical in Dec, 1st mc in April and I'm currently going through my 2nd mc. I never had any trouble first time round. Did you report your 1sr chemical to drs? I didn't and they wouldn't count it on my records so technically this is my 3rd but counts as 2 to drs.
You can fall pregnant so that's great news!! You've definitely got high chances of falling again. And you're a lot more fertile directly after a mc. Sending you luck xx
