Period after d&c

Hi ladies, so i had my 3rd section 10 weeks ago, ended up with retained products so had to have a d&c 3 weeks ago, i still have not had a period! Is this normal as i thought it was 4-6 weeks later 🙈 my lower tummy is tender at times and every now and again i get stabbing pains in the left and right side of my lower abdomen, my gp has said if it hasn't arrived by 10 weeks to come back to her and didnt seem to concerned about the stabbing pains! How long did it take for ur periods to return to normal

It took me 5 weeks post D&C to get my period and in total 9 weeks since miscarriage at 10 weeks. D&C was done for retained products. after D&C I had an infection... check out that stabbing pain... and good luck...🙂

Hi ladies, I had a D&C recently and it took 5 weeks for my period to return. I was getting cramps for quite a few weeks before and kept feeling like I was going to come on but didn't. When it finally came it was quite light and I was still testing positive on home pregnancy tests.

Hope it comes soon for you, horrible waiting isn't it.x
