Miscarriage at 6 weeks, when will it be over?!

So Sunday night i started bleeding, by Monday morning the cramps and bleeding ramped up and i passed a large tissue mass (the pregnancy i guess). This morning the cramps and bleeding got worse again and i passed another tissue mass.
I’m still bleeding and cramping on and off. Is this normal even though i’ve passed the pregnancy? How long will this last?

I never bothered contacting EPU as they can’t really do anything can they?

I'm so sorry for you loss. It really does suck.
I have just had a 6 week miscarriage.

I went for an early scan as had previous ectopic. The day we saw the little baby and heart beat I started spotting. The spotting lasted 3 days. The next day it ramped up with cramps. I was passing small clots for 6 days (but I never had a heavy flow was only when I went for a wee and wiped) Then spotted for 2 days so I thought it was the end. I then bled like a period for another 5 days after.

The bleeding overall including the spotting lasted 2 weeks 3 day.

It's awful. It seems like it's never ending. But it will come to an end soon. Just try and stay occupied. I'm sorry you are going through this

@Bigkingdom I also started bleeding sunday, passed large clot sunday and also yesterday and it's very on and off. I have a scan at the EPU today as my midwife referred me. I just want to move on too and wish it would stop!

I think it’s ‘normal’ that it lasts a while, I’ve been bleeding for just over two weeks
but no sign of passing any tissue yet. EPU confirmed my pregnancy wasn’t viable at the end of last week and have been really good so maybe give yours a call? They may be able to arrange a scan for you to confirm where you’re at. Mine have booked another for Friday for me. Xx

When I wasn’t sure if my miscarriage had ended or not, I called EPU and they got me in the next morning for a scan. They told me everything had passed, however it hadn’t quite, as the next day I passed the remains. I then took it back in and they sent it off for testing xx
