I had surgical management on Tuesday for a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks ( measuring 6). This Miami third consecutive loss.

Just wondering what other experience were like after this please as I feel ok now I have recovered from the general anaesthetic. I have mild stomach ache and very light spotting? Dreading doing back to work Tuesday as it's so busy and will n expect red back at full capacity - but they have been awesome and really kind.

Last time I had a miscarriage -two years ago- I had medical
Management and it was awful weeks of bleeding and I was of work for 5 weeks due to a acute bleed because of retained products which require non surgical removal i.e there wasn't time to get me to theatre.

I recovered very quickly after mine, back to work on the Monday after the Thursday. BUT even if you’re physically fine, that doesn’t mean you’re ready to go back to work. If you need more time, then take it. I wish I had.

Physically I was absolutely fine. I’d lost it at 11weeks. Mentally I was very down and emotional for a while

I feel quite emotionless and numb which is really odd.

I think I will go back Tuesday ( I don't work sat-mon) and see how I get on.

When did bleeding and pain stop?
