Bleeding after 16 week loss

Hello

Just wondered how long people bled for after a late loss at 16 weeks? It's been 9 days. It's not heavy. But hasn't really tailed off from when it happened. And still bright red. About one night time type pad a day. Sometimes 2. Thanks

Hey @mrsawhite I lost my girl in April at 16 weeks it was a missed miscarriage. I bleed for about 5 days heavy, then tailed off to day 10 unfortunately I needed a MVA for retained placenta. Then it was only 2-3 days.

Thanks for your reply. This was a tfmr due to a diagnosis of Pataus sadly. Seems a bit better today. But still getting the odd rush of red blood. I am wondering if the scan will show retained placenta too. Really hope not x

I'm so sorry, that's such a hard discussion to make.
How are you doing now?

Better thanks. It was awful. But not really a decision. Was so much wrong. Couldn't have survived. Just taking each day as it comes x
