Has anyone had a scan this early on and can let me know what it showed? I had one due to 2 bleeds and I also have had 6previous mc so I know this won’t end well. But still looking for stories (like u do).
I’m sure of my dates as it’s an ivf pregnancy but saw gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole…..not feeling very hopeful!

Oh wow 2 scans on same day 1 week apart! That’s worrying isnt it?! I’m measuring right for dates this time (12mm) but just feel like my hb came too late and with the spotting feel like baby is struggling and about to come to a halt :(

It doesn't matter when the heartbeat comes as long as it comes!! You could have implanted late ? We're these internal scans? Also do you have a retroverted uterus ?? I'm sorry to hear about your losses I've had a previous ectopic and miscarriage. With your other losses did you actually see heartbeat xx
bluepixie · 29/06/2021 14:33

@Kirst2015 yes I’ve had 3 losses with a heartbeat so I can’t relax!!!! I thank god had my son after my 6th mc and this is my first pregnancy post him.

Oh no how awful for you 😢😢

Did they look into why it's happening?? What week were the losses xx

bluepixie · 29/06/2021 15:51

Oh I’ve had eveything done! Literally! This is an ivf cycle with chromosomal screening and some Immune tx.
I had a 9 week, a 7 week and 8 week loss - those had hb.
Then 2 5 week loses and a 6.5 loss - no scans with these.
We have severe male factor due to surgery my dh had as a child so need ivf to conceive I don’t know if his sperm plays a role. We know one of my losses was an abnormal chromosome one - trisomy 13 so maybe I make a lot of bad ones?

Cream123, if you need a scan every week, have a scan every week. Pregnancy after so many losses is harrowing and after everything you've been through so far, you deserve to know what's going on in there. You will be aware of the research showing better outcomes with regular scans - so if it turns out you need to go again next week, just do it and don't feel bad.

bluepixie · 01/07/2021 21:36

@Kirst2015 when I said worrying isn’t it - I meant that the scanners could just diff results not that that was something for u to worry about! Just realised it read wrong. I really
Hope all ok with u tmrw

@SchnitzelVonCrummsTum thanks. Yes agree. It’s just I’m finding it hard finding the time to go and with dh (can’t handle scans alone) and with toddler and work. So quite looking fwd to just having a week off from clinics and appts and medical stuff. Saying that give me 2 days and I’ll be worrying again and have another scan booked!

OP posts:
bluepixie · 01/07/2021 21:36

(As I’m not with toddler and have someone have him when I have the scan) I certainly don’t take him!

OP posts:
SchnitzelVonCrummsTum · 02/07/2021 11:45

@Cream123 oh absolutely, it's logistically challenging and I know that scans don't reassure for long. I've had 5 losses and in successful pregnancies did end up having far more scans than I initially planned to ... sometimes I would schedule them and then feel able to cancel nearer the time as I wasn't feeling too frantic. It's just psychologically grim however you look at it, isn't it? Sending virtual hugs.

bluepixie · 02/07/2021 12:38

Thanks @SchnitzelVonCrummsTum it’s so though. I actually really dislike being pregnant tbh. Full of worry and anxiety and terrible sickness. Just want the baby at the end :) sorry for all ur looses it’s so though x

Hiya all was okay thankfully!! Baby still measuring 5 days behind but exactly the same as a couple of weeks ago so baby has grown as it should have!! Also they said bleed still there but looks slightly smaller it's still very noticeable though xx
bluepixie · 03/07/2021 15:20

@Kirst2015 oh I was waiting for ur update! So happy that’s great news :)

OP posts:
bluepixie · 04/07/2021 20:43

Ugh I’ve started worrying about it. Reassurance lasted about 48 hours top in which time I was still worried. Going to have to book another scan. Had a 10 plus 4 already booked as doing harmony test. Then I think I could wait till 12 week nhs scan.
Just really find it so though and hard to believe it could be ok….

Hiya! Not much to report I've resisted getting another scan well I'm trying to! I am 12 weeks a week tomorow! And my scan a week Monday. I'm so nervous as still not many symptoms or anything.

How are you doing ?? X

bluepixie · 13/07/2021 13:07

Oh well done! I’m ok I had a scan at 9 plus 4 and ok. Doing the harmony test this week then waiting for my dating scan!
Congrats :)

That's fab I'm glad all okay are you measuring as you should ??

What's the harmony test? X

bluepixie · 13/07/2021 13:33

@Kirst2015 it is yes! 9 plus 4 last week which is what I was. It’s like the nhs combined test but much more sensitive and 400 quid. Screens for some of the chromosomal abnormalities. And can be done from 10 weeks. Think nhs offer it is u combined test is raised now in some parts of the country.
