Hi

So I had a miscarriage at 5 and half weeks in March and got pregnant straight away after that. I had surgical management yesterday for a missed miscarriage. Should have been 9 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 6.

Emotionally I feel ok, somehow I found it easier than the first. Probably because I was expecting it, somehow I just knew something wasn't right.

I have no other children and am 32. I'm now so worried that it will happen again. Anyone got any advice or positive stories to share?

Also I have had little to no bleeding after the surgical management yesterday? Is this normal? Just seems to be a bit of brown spotting.

Thanks in advance

Sorry I haven't got any advice but wanted to say I'm in a similar position to you. I had an mc in feb at 5 weeks and now going in for surgical management next week when I would have been 9 weeks for a mmc. Its really unfair. I am 32 too. Flowers

I'm sorry that you are going through a similar situation. It feels so unfair and cruel that we all have to keep enduring this until we meet the criteria to warrant tests.

I have found that I have coped with the loss better than last time as the pain is something I have experienced before but the worst part about this time round is the feeling that it's likely to happen next time too. It feels so lonely somehow, I don't know how to describe it.

I hope you have lots of support around you to get you through this week and next ❤️ praying that it works out better for us in the future

I had the exact same ( 1 missed miscarriage and 1 chemical) within 2 months of each other. I was the same age as you and third time I had a boy who is now 3 💙

@Ralowi thanks for sharing. I'm sort about your previous miscarriages but so glad you got your baby in the end ❤️ it gives me hope for myself in the future!

I'm just currently waiting for my negative pregnancy test before trying again. Am I right in thinking that you can't get pregnant gain until the levels are low enough to not be detected on a pregnancy test? The info online about this seems to be a bit contradictory
