Hi all,

So I detected my pregnancy quite early with a CB early detection test which is digital and came back "pregnant" yesterday.

Just after that I began to bleed - not loads but definitely not spotting and more like a light period. It was brown mainly and sometimes lighter.

Anyway, it's been this type of bleeeding on/off sometimes nothing other times little surges.

I assume this is a very early miscarriage or "chemical pregnancy". However, doctor has said they can't confirm as I am too early but this morning I'm still getting faint positive test (it's always been faint - pic attached).

Not really sure what to do as never had a miscarriage before and just looking for some experiences / help etc.

I had to leave work yesterday with it.

Thanks in advance x

For a very early/chemical miscarriage the typical experience would be bleeding like a period or slightly heavier. The tests will slowly get weaker and should be negative within 3 weeks.

That said, light brown bleeding may also be implantation. If your bleeding stops and your tests get stronger every 2days, that may be more likely. Id recommend always using the same type of tests so you can compare lines.

Wishing you all the best x

Its really hard to say. You could get in touch with your local early pregnancy unit and ask them to take your blood to test to see if hcg is rising or falling. That'll give you the best indication at this point x
