Hoping someone might have some thoughts. I had a MMC in February (should have been 11 weeks but only measured 6 with no heartbeat). I miscarried naturally a few days after scan confirmed with lots of blood and clots (and pain). A follow up scan at the EPU a week later was clear and I was sent on my way.
Fast forward to now, I haven't had a normal period since but instead have been spotting pretty much everyday. This has never happened before. The colour ranges from brown to pink and today, quite a lot of red.
I should add that I don't ovulate. I got pregnant with the help of Clomid. I've only learned a few days ago that I might have PCOS (AMH is 32 and I just turned 40) but will be having a HyFoSy in a few weeks which should confirm that either way.
Added to the spotting, I've always suffered with BV on and off but this past month, it's very off (a lot worse than normal).
I just assumed that this was a bad spell but my consultant (private fertility clinic) said on Saturday that it sounds like there may be some retained tissue given the spotting combined with bad smell. Up until today, it has been literally one or two spots a day. Tonight though it was bright red and quite a lot. I'm on cycle day 14 so shouldn't be a "period".
Any thoughts? I'm booked in for a swab test at GP on Thursday in the meantime to check for infection.
It's taking so long for my body to return to (it's defunct) normal and it's so frustrating!
